New Featured Wader page – Hooded Plover

We have posted a new Featured Wader page, this time it is the Hooded Plover.

All the details of the previous Featured Wader – Ruddy Turnstone are still on the website under the Ruddy Turnstone entry on the What are Waders? directory. (As is No. 1 in the series Diademed Sandpiper Plover.)

As there are so many wonderful waders to choose from it is hard to know which species to do as our featured bird, so, to make life easier for ourselves, at least to start with, we are following the sequence of our own Wader Quest Collectables pin badges.

So the next you can expect will be No. 4 the Sanderling.
