Quiz Night in aid of Wader Quest.

Pat and Neil Hodges are amazing people. They give up loads of their spare time to produce quiz nights with a fish and chips supper, which they run in aid of a variety of charities, Wader Quest among them.

On Saturday 4th of December it was our turn again. We were delighted to get the chance, having had two cancelled in the recent COVID restrictions.

The night was well attended and great fun, added to which, we raised £327.00 from the entrance fee and the raffle, not to be sneezed at. Many of the raffle prizes were donated by attendees. The only thing with general knowledge quizzes is that I realise that I am generally not knowledgeable! Not one single wader question! I ask you. The evening of course had a Christmas theme to it, being the last this year before the festive season really gets under way, so it was great to have mince pies (supplied by Pat) to get into the spirit of the season.

A big thank you to Pat and Neil and also the Parish Church of St Thomas in Simpson village, which hosted the event. (The Reverend Nicola was on our team, very handy for the bible reference questions.)

The well stocked raffle table.
